Sending Love & Sympathy

I Really Mean it This Time - I Am Back!

Here is one of the cards we made at my January Stamp-A-Stack Class.

It's so simple and elegant.  It is a copy of one I found on Pinterest, I am sorry I don't recall who shared it.  If I can find that information, I will add it to this post.  Unfortunately, we need Sympathy cards all too often so I try to keep several on hand.

Supplies are all from Stampin' UP!
Stamp Set: Love & Sympathy-item # 122795 for wood or # 122797 for clear mount
Ink and card stock colors are Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Basic Black and Whisper White
The ribbon is unavailable  It came from last years' Sale-A-Bration promo.

Which reminds me, we are having Sale-A-Bration again!  It just started on Tuesday of this week!  It will only run 2 short months.  Have you heard about it?  With each and every $50 you spend for your Stampin' UP supplies (before tax & shipping) you get a free item!  Go to my Stampin UP website to order any supplies you might need!

I promise to see you soon! Gayle

I Really am Back Now!

I Really am Back Now!
I have another blog named Creations By Gayle and it looks great but it is more difficult to work with so I decided to come back to this one that I had made up previously.  Does that make sense or are you thoroughly confused?  LOL   I can add to this template where I cannot do so on the other one and several other people's blog have that same name.  Long story short, I really am back.

I have lots of cards and ideas to share.  I am doing some other crafts that I will show you all from time to time.  So get ready to have fun with me as I learn more about crafts and stuff!

This is a card named You are such a Blessing in my Life.

It features the newest In Colors that came out in our 2012-2013 BIG CATALOG.  If you have not received your copy, you may email me to request your copy.  It's only $4 plus shipping.  Email me at gaylesstampinnook@cox.net today so I can send it to you!

I'm Baaack! Changes Happen!

Things are changing in my life!  Since January of this year I have become more involved in working with our church.  I have the awesome opportunity to help others in my community who have needs for prayer.

This came about when our prayer chain captain became too ill to continue to lead the prayer chain.  I spoke to our pastor, Darren Dix about how I felt led to help fill the gap.  We talked and I have been the leader of the Rock Prayer Team for more than 5 months.

That is one of the things that I have been busy with and I will post more about how this has changed my life, my thoughts, my priorities and, well, me!

I have and will continue to make cards and gift items.  I will post some of the cards I have made in the time since my last post and the ones that are being made in the future!

Happy Memorial Day!  Be Safe and Be Blessed!  Gayle

More Christmas Cards...

Here are some of my Christmas cards that I have wanted to share but have just been too busy to do so!  These cards are easy easy to make!  You only have a few more days to order any of this paper to make cards up for next Christmas!  Talk about getting a head start on things doing them now would be a cool idea, don't you think?  I should take my own advice!  LOL

The paper I am speaking of was used in the first 2 of the 3 cards: it is Deck The Halls Designer Series Paper #120810, I love how that this paper is printed on both sides, it comes in 6 designs (2 sheets of each) in 12 x 12 inches for only $9.95 for the package!  That is a good deal!

The Holiday Mini Catalog expires on January 3, 2011 so look at it and place your online order promptly if there is anything in it that you want!

I pray for you to rich blessings from our Lord above.

Thank you for dropping by and I hope to be back here tomorrow showing you the last of my 2010 cards.

GREETING CARD KIDS

Here's a little card that is simple to make and reminds me of the old fashioned cards we used to see when I was a little girl.  I love using the ink pads, blender pens and watercolor paper to paint this card.  I also used Black Stazon ink, glitter and ribbon.  It is so fun to make little cards that my family and friends will enjoy. Stamp set: Greeting Card Kids and Teeny Tiny WishesCard Stock:  Watercolor paper, Garden Green, Certainly Celery and Real Red.Ink Pads: Black Stazon, Real Read, Certainly Celery, Garden Green and Blushing Bride Accessories: Blender Pens, Ticket Corner Punch, Dazzling Diamonds and 5/8" Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon  Technique:  Squeeze the ink pad and get the ink up on the into of the lid.  Pickup the ink with the blender pens and lightly outline 1 part of the area at a time.  Then spread out the color getting a lighter and lighter shade.  It does take practice so practice and in time you will get better at doing it.  Good luck. Thanks for dropping by.
