Three Little Words...

This is the first card I ever made that is using only one color of card stock! It is a case from Diana Gibbs another Stampin' UP! demonstrator! IT IS SO EASY TO MAKE!

Whisper White card stock.

Stamp set: Three Little Words #113254 sells for only $13.95 on page 139 in the Idea Book & Catalog.

Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Lavender Lace and Old Olive Markers

Accessories: Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder (#117335) which sells for $7.95, Stampin' Dimenionals (#104430) package of 300 for only $3.95, 1 Mini Glue Dot (#103683)box of 300 for $3.95 and Snail Adhesive sells for $6.95 and the refills are only $4.50 Item #s are 104332 and 104331 respectively. They are so easy to use and are permanent. The neat thing about the impressions folders is that you can use them over and over and they will last a very long time!

I stamped the little flower a second time, cut it out then applied it on top of the first flower using the glue dot to make it sit up away from the surface, you can't really see the effect. But you can see how the Stampin' Dimenionals pop up the stamped images, can't you? I love that effect!

On Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 7PM I will host a workshop in my home in South Oklahoma City if you live in the area and want to attend. You will get to make 2 cute cards and I will demonstrate how to make a little gift item! It's free! Call or email me for directions and if you have any questions.

Have an awesome day! Thanks for dropping by to see what I've been doing lately!

On Your Birthday...ENJOY!

Here's another card that is a copy of a card in the Idea Book & Catalog (2009-2010). I love copying from the catalog because I know the card will come out right with consideration of the color combination used. You know if it is published in a Stampin' UP! catalog it's a good card to copy!

Card stock: Whisper White, Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper, scraps of Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. I love it when I can use up some of my scraps!

Stamp Set: On Your Birthday #11664 on page 139 sells for $33.95 it is so versatile and a must have if you make B-day cards.

Ink: Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry Markers and pads.

Accessories: Paper Piercing Tool (#116631)and Mat Pack (#105826) on page 191 of the IB&C $3.50 and $9.95 respectively. Chocolate 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon (#111367)that is only $4.95 for 15 yards. Punches: The Large Oval, Wide Oval, Scallop Oval, Spiral and the Scallop Edge! Did you know that none of Stampin' UP! individual punches cost more than $15.95? Isn't that awesome? I guess you could say you get more punch for you money! Hee-hee...I know, I'm being funny! I bet you smiled!

Thank you

Here's a card copied from the Idea Book & Catalog on page 197 using different colors of card stock.

It features the Big Shot, the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on pg. 24 of the summer mini catalog, the Stampin' UP Little Leaves and Stampin' UP Many Thanks Sizzlits Dies.

So simple using the 2-way glue pen to adhere the leaves and letters to the card stock.

Plan on coming to my next Stamp-A-Stack Class on June 12 at 2PM. It's only $20 for 10 beautiful complete with envelopes! They are handmade and your love goes in every part of each card! You must prepay to get the $20 price or it is $23 at the door.

Email or phone me to get information of where to send your registration to. Please, bring your own adhesive.

Have a great day!

Thanks so Much!

This is another card we made at the Stamp-a-Stack class. It is an alternative to the Father's Day card for those who have no need for that one because their dads have passed away.
I used the Eight Great Greetings stamp set.
The card stock is almost the same except for the base is Barely Banana which is going to leave us soon. I added Old Olive and a small strip of Chocolate Chip. I love using those little strips small pieces of card stock!
The only embellishment is the striped Old Olive Grosgrain ribbon. So easy!

Happy Father's Day

Here's a Father's Day card we made at the Stamp-A-Stack Class on Saturday. It is copied off of a card in the Big Idea Book and Catalog using Eight Great Greetings (#113822 on page 46) and Teeny Tiny Wishes (#115370 on page 145) stamp sets. If you are a serious stamper I think that these two stamps sets are must haves because you can use them for so many different types of cards. Of course, I changed the colors of card stock a little.
Card stock: Whisper White, Really Rust Print, Chocolate Chip and So Saffron. The ink pads used are Old Olive and Chocolate Chip.
The accents are the Chocolate Chip 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and little brass brads.
If you need a really cute, easy card for Dad's Day this is the one for you!
Thank you for visiting today. Leave a comment and tell me what you think of my card.
Stamp a little today and get your creative juices flowing!

One more thing, if you live in the Oklahoma City area and would like to scrapbook with us on Friday night this week send me an email for complete details.

Wonderful Mother card

Here's a card that I made a week ago but because of many things going on I did not get to post it! It's a very simple card. The technique used was to stamp off the ink on another piece of paper before stamping the card and to smudge the Bordering Blue around randomly on the Whisper White.

The Stamp sets used were the Vintage Vogue which I am excited to tell you will be in our new big catalog that comes out this summer on July 1st and the Wonderful/Favorite sets!

I used Bordering Blue, Whisper White and Night of Navy card stock! The ink pads used were Bordering Blue and Night of Navy!

Scallop Border punch was used on the Night of Navy card stock and White Organza Ribbon finished it off. What do you think?

One more thing, Bordering Blue is one of our colors that are going away soon so if you need paper, ink pad or refill be sure to order it very soon because once it's gone it's gone!

Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there! I hope you get to enjoy being with your children on your special day!

Gayle
