Friends 24-7

Here's a card I made earlier this week. I cased it from a card in our Stampin' Up demonstrator's magazine Stampin' Success made by Fran Sabad. I kept it very simple as we will be making this at an upcoming workshop. The one thing I did differently is to distress the edges of the whisper white card stock.
Stamp Set: Friends 24-7 #113218 on pg.138 of our new IDEA BOOK & CATALOG.
Card Stock: Early Espresso, Old Olive and Whisper White
Ink: Classic Early Espresso stamp pad and Certainly Celery Stampin' Write Marker
Accessories: Small Oval and Scallop Oval Punches, Stampin' Dimensionals and Distressing tool (the edge of my paper snips.)

It looked a little unfinished so I stamped and added one more thing. What do you think?
You know the neat thing about making your own cards for friends and loved ones, you can dress it up or keep it very simple. If I want I can add some hemp twine, item # 100982 to add a little more texture.

I love how this card came together, I used Bashful Blue and Whisper White card stock, Little Angel (retired) and God's Blessings Stamp sets, Soft Suede Ink Pad, 1 1/2" Circle Punch, the Square and Circle Scallop Punches and finally, the Cropadile for setting the 3 Eyelets. I used my Big Shot to cut the top circle for the neckline with the Magnetic Movers and Shapers-Punch Windows (set of 4 #115953.)

Whether you need a card for a birth announcement or for a friend who has just had or is going to have a baby this and the previous card shown above are perfect for you to use!

I added a roll of scallops at the neckline. It's amazing how just a little bit more paper will just finish a card off and make it look so cute!

Accessories: The Big Shot, Stampin' Up! Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder, Sizzix Bigz Clear Large Scallop Square, 1 3/4" Large Circle Punch, 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, 1 button (both are Pretty in Pink to match the card stock), Mini Glue Dots and 2 Dimensionals!
